El Calvario, Mun. El Hatillo, Venezuela
marzo 07, 2020
Between November 2019 and March 2020 we carried out the third TEP program in El Calvario, this time in the lower sector with the support of CBRE and all the individuals who donated to the GoFoundMe. The 50 m2 intervention includes a mural designed by one of our students, who titled it «Crosses, flowers and drums» inspired by the identity of the community, also a vertical garden was built in front of the house of Mr. Jose Luis, one of the community leaders and grandfather of 2 of the participants, in the staircase #1 of the community. The transformation of this space was achieved with the support of more than 15 volunteers and allowed the consolidation of the project «Trazando Espacios de Conexión» in which stairway #1 was intervened, and sought to generate small spaces of permanence and integration in a daily path for 80% of the population of El Calvario.
