octubre 05, 2018
For this program, the Tracing Spaces team traveled for a week during the month of March 2018 to the El Pilar community in Sucre State, to work in alliance with the San José Foundation and the 6th-grade students of the Luis Daniel Beauperthuy Bolivarian School.
With 49 participants, what could be the park for their school was designed through innovative ideas and surveys that would tell us which were the favorite games of the other students and what elements the park of their dreams has. Finally, the exhibition was held to the entire student community, from which the proposals for the trampoline, the slide, the little house for games, court, climbing mountain, and swings came out.
In the first two weeks of October of the same year, we returned to this community to transform the space and together with the students and volunteers, we transformed 155 m2 of the park that included: 6 swings, a slide, a house closed with wicker and with a suspension bridge, as well as a labyrinth-court painted on the floor, along with a numbers game built with mosaics in the stands.
