About This Project

On this occasion, we work during March and October 2018 in alliance with the San Jose Foundation under its «Training in Values» ​​program with the students of the Guasimal Abajo School, located in the Paria Peninsula.

In the first phase, we conducted an intensive workshop with 15 6th grade boys, girls and adolescents to imagine a park for the school. And after surveying the rest of the student community, the exhibition of 3 models was made to all the students, teachers, and workers of the institution, who voted for the most original ideas for the park and selected: the interactive wall, the slide, swings, and bars to hang with some vines.
For the second phase, our students were already in the 7th grade, and despite not being in the same school, they joined with the 6th graders to work on the construction of the park. In a week with the support of volunteers, they built the park which they named «Park of the Fun and Joy».
