About This Project

In between November 2019 and March 2020, we accomplished the third program TPS in El Calvario, this time in the lower sector with the support of CBRE and all the individuals who donated to GoFoundMe. The 50 m2 intervention includes a mural designed by one of our students, who called it «Crosses, flowers and drums» inspired by the identity of the community, in addition it was built a vertical garden in front of the house of Mr. Jose Luis, one of the community leaders and grandfather of 2 of the participants, in ladder #1 of the community. The transformation of this space was achieved with the support of more than 15 volunteers and allowed the consolidation of the project Tracing Connecting Spaces in which stair #1 was intervened, and sought to generate small spaces of permanence and integration in a daily journey for the 80% of the population of El Calvario.
