YOUTH COMMUNITY CENTER IN CHUPARIPAL

Location: Chuparipal Abajo, Sucre State, Venezuela

Direct Beneficiaries: 187 inhabitants of the community

Indirect Beneficiaries: Approximately 100 people, from the Benítez Municipality

 It will benefit 4 communities (Chuparipal, Río del Pilar, Guasimal and Chorochoro) in the El Pilar sector where approximately 1,000 people live, among others

This project aims to build a Meeting Place for the training and development of local actions that make up sustainable and organized societies.

 

 In addition, it will allow them to hold meetings to deal with the main community problems such as: the defense of fundamental and citizen rights, training in trades, carrying out recreational and cultural activities, receiving primary medical care, holding workshops for the transmission of knowledge, workshops for the psychopedagogical support and leveling of children, among others.

 

We want to give back hope to its young people and for them to be able to develop their great tourist, agricultural and craft potential!

ESTRELLAS DE BIRONGO

MUSICAL SCHOOL

Ally:

Location: Birongo, Miranda State, Venezuela

Direct Beneficiaries: 30 members of Estrellas de Birongo group 

Indirect Beneficiaries: 90 children, adolescents and young people from the community

Amount to be raise: usd $23,793

The traditions of each community allow their story to be told, and music is one of their forms of expression. Become an agent of change and help the boys and girls of Birongo to rescue their cultural education!

 

Birongo is an Afro-Caribbean community located in the north of Venezuela, in Miranda State, with great challenges inhabited by approximately 8,000 people connected not only by its geography, but also by its musical culture, represented by a drum beat. This project seeks to build a Musical School designed and built in a participatory manner with the community to promote, cultivate and preserve the musical and cultural heritage for present and future generations.
